Chicken Tikka Pulao

INGREDIENTS:

  • Chicken (8 pieces) 1 kg
  • Basmati Rice ½ kg
  • Bay Leaves 2
  • Cardamoms (Big) 2
  • Onions 2
  • Cardamoms (small) 4
  • Mint Leaves 1 bunch
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Chicken Stock 1 – ½ glass
  • Black Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Whole Black Pepper ½ tsp
  • Green Chili Paste 2 tbsp

INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING TIKKA:

  • Yellow Food Color 1 pinch
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Chaat Masala 1 tsp
  • Red Chilies 2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
  • Roasted Cumin 2 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice 4 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Chicken Tikka Pulao

METHOD:

  1. In chicken, add 2 tsp red chilies, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp roasted cumin, ½ tsp salt, 1 pinch food color, 4 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp chaat masala, ½ cup yogurt and 4 tbsp oil and mix it properly and keep it for 30 minutes.
  2. Put it in a pan and cook it on low heat for 15 minutes and then cook it on high heat till dry.
  3. Heat ½ cup oil and fry the onions till golden brown.
  4. Add 1 tsp black cumin, ½ tsp whole black pepper, 2 bay leaves, 4 small cardamoms, 2 big cardamoms, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp green chili paste and cook it for a while.
  5. Add  rice, chicken stock and 1 tsp salt cover and cook till water evaporates.
  6. Add the prepared tikkas and mint leaves.
  7. Keep on dum for 15 minutes.
  8. Delicious tikka pulao is ready.
